The OWSD Costa Rica National Chapter was founded in 2024 and is based based at the Costa Rican National Academy of Sciences,.The organization especially aims at increasing the visibility and recognition of the contributions made by women scientists to Costa Rica’s scientific and technological advancements, as these remain underrepresented.
