Nicaragua
The Nicaragua National Chapter of OWSD was established in May 2022 and is hosted by Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Nicaragua (UNAN- Managua). Among the Nicaragua National Chapter's planned activities are raising visibility of work done by Nicaraguan women scientists through seminars, conferences and academic activities, promotion of collaboration between women scientists and technologists in the country, and helping young women scientists to access new opportunities for high-level academic training in the country or abroad.
