The OWSD Perú National Chapter was established in May 2019 and is based in Lima. Among its planned activities we were realized the launched of Perú National Chapter (PNC), which was in February, 2020. Promoting initiatives and projects to spur girls' interest in scientific careers from school. Make a database for the identification of Peruvian women scientists and their respective areas of study, disseminating scientific awareness through webinars, workshops and seminars for both the scientific community and the public, and organizing leadership training for women in science, technology, engineering, mathematics (STEM) and social events to raise public awareness about the importance of gender balance.
